Suggestions are welcome for a possible overall theme for these windows.

Tasks presently done by Jo needing to be delegated

Taking bric a brac , handbags and other surplus goods to Savers or another op shop once a week-  Roma will do this on Thursdays.  Karina could take them to Savers at Salisbury if needed.

Culled formal wear, men’s and women’s clothing, shoes and handbags to go to “With Love Formal Wear” at Michel’s pop-up store on first Saturday in the month from April 2023.

Topping up supplies – Mary, Carlene and Penny will do this.  Receipts need to be kept and be given to Christine for reimbursement. When making claims for reimbursement, please submit receipts for items for the Shop separate from any personal purchases.

Laminating:  Karina will donate a Laminator and pouches for use in the Shop

The new Manager

A new Manager will be announced as soon as there has been an appointment. The new manager, although a regular and loyal customer, has not worked at the Shop as a volunteer so will be in need support during 2023. There will be a transition period of three months in the New Year.  Wendy Hartley has offered to assist during the time of transition, and others have offered to give additional support.

Questionnaires

These were distributed at the Meeting and will be sent by email to those who are not present. Hard copies are in a plastic sleeve on the pinboard and digital copies will be sent out with the December Shop News. Please place responses in the labelled box in the staff room or email to Jo.  They can be signed, or anonymous.

Relief staff

There is an Emergency List on the pin-board in the staff room. If extra staff are needed, volunteers are welcome to contact anyone on this list.

Jo will ask Peter Strous, who now checks electrical goods, if he is willing to be our contact Electrician.

Wendy Hartley suggested that an Afternoon Tea be held on Christmas Day at the Shop for any Volunteers who would like to attend. All are welcome. Please bring a place of goodies to share.  .

Volunteers are asked to make sure that the back door is locked if they are working after hours.

Keys to the Shop are available for Volunteers who need them.  Alternatively, a key is held at the Post Office.  Please wear a name tag to identify that you are a Shop Volunteer if you need a key from the post office.  Please make sure that the doors are deadlocked when you leave.

These Minutes will be circulated with the next Newsletter.
